He has >10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical research industry and >20 years of experience in scientific research specializing in: medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry, drug discovery, organometallics, structure-based drug design, transdermal drug delivery, pharmaceutical drug delivery, topical formulations, transdermal pro-drug design and synthesis, drug delivery, and fragment-based approaches to drug discovery.

Kevin McGovern
Through his family office, McGovern Capital, has co-founded 25+ companies, 6 of which have become world or category leaders and has served as lead negotiator/principal in 12+ global JVs. Has investments in diversified categories including telemedicine, water filtration, innovative food & beverage companies, unique skincare technologies for women of color and cannabis, medical/drug development cannabis, e-sports, and various impact/environmental opportunities. HE CREATED THE PROGRAM, SUPERVISED, AND NEGOTIATED ALL GLOBAL LICENSING OF TRISTRATA’S ALPHA HYDROXY ACID (AHA) PATENTS, which technology was incorporated in approximately 40% of all global skincare products, and is/was sold in approximately 80 countries. As a Trustee Emeritus at Cornell University, he serves on the global Committee on Research and Innovation.

Katey Henninger
Katey graduated from Villanova University in 2003 with a B.S. in Computer Science and a Concentration in Cognitive Science. After graduating from Villanova, she attended Quinnipiac University School of Law, graduating in 2006. She is an Associate at McGovern & Associates and is admitted to the Connecticut State Bar. She enjoys volunteering with numerous organizations. Katey coordinates all legal/IP related matters and advises principally in areas that relate to her computer science background.
